Father Pleas With Trump To Attend Daughter's Funeral

A Jamaican father is pleading with President Trump to let him in the U.S. to attend his daughter's funeral.  11 year old AbbieGail Smith was stabbed to death last week in Keansburg, New Jersey, and her older sister has been denied a visa to attend her funeral.  Now the girl's father, Kenroy Smith, says his visa is in limbo.

He was deported from the U.S. on a drug charge more than a decade and a half ago.  He's now making an emotional plea to President Trump, reaching out through the "Asbury Park Press" with a request for the president to intervene.  Smith says, quote "My dear little AbbieGail was taken away and I need to pay my last respects to her."  Smith says he expects to find out today if he'll be granted entry into the U.S.  His daughter's funeral is Monday.  Her body was found last week on the roof of her New Jersey apartment.  A neighbor has been charged with the murder.
