New Zealand Shooter Sent Manifesto To PM's Office Minutes Before Attack

Australia Reacts To Christchurch Mosque Terror Attacks

Authorities in New Zealand say that the man charged in the horrific terrorist attack that left 49 people dead sent a copy of his manifesto to the Prime Minister's office minutes before he began his 36-minute assault on two mosques in Christchurch. The 87-page manifesto was filled with anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiments and referenced well-known white supremacist YouTube channels.

Officials say that the shooter live-streamed the attack on social media. He began by opening fire on worshipers at Al Noor Mosque. He then drove across the city to the Linwood Masjid Mosque where he continued his rampage. He intended to continue his attack, but a pair of armed community members were able to force his car off to the side of the road. He was taken into custody and is currently facing one charge of murder, though officials say more charges will be filed as the investigation continues.
