The 23rd-ever BET Awards went down on Sunday night in L.A., with music as the major focus of the evening.
Perhaps due to the writers' strike and looming Screen Actors Guild strike, Culture's Biggest Night was billed as a "Celebration of Hip-Hop." The evening included numerous tributes to celebrate the genre's 50th birthday, and a ton of performances.
